Professionally, Brinkley’s Estate Agency is a member of the Guild of Professional Estate Agents and strictly adheres to all codes and conducts expected by the governing sales and lettings, representatives.
We are also Members of ARLA, The Association of Residential Lettings Agents. Membership of which, is achieved through qualified examination rather than simply paying a membership fee.
We are proud to say that our retention rates of landlords are strong – supported by the continued number one ranking given to Brinkley’s Estate Agency from Rightmove, for companies operating in the affluent SW19 area.
As a young sole trader Robert Brinkley had a firm belief that the long-established property trade could be improved through hard-work and fairness for buyers, renters and landlords. His ethos: ‘a modern approach to traditional values’ remains at the heart of the company today.
With zero investment, Robert tirelessly posted leaflets to drum up business. Combining extremely low costs to potential customers with a vibrant and engaging personality, Robert was able to open the maiden Brinkley’s Estate Agency in a small office in Wimbledon Park.
Despite operating in an uncertain financial climate, Robert has continually invested in and driven Brinkley’s Estate Agency from a fledgling business in 2006 to incorporation as a Limited company in 2012.
The company operates an equal opportunity program whereby employees are given the chance to excel and advance in the company. This is shown by many of the key roles within the company being occupied by staff members who have joined Brinkley’s Estate Agency within the past three years. Loyalty is also rewarded and retention rates of employees who joined in the formative years remain with the team despite a fiercely competitive marketplace.
As an independent agency in the last ten years, we have handled the transactions for more than 11000 properties. We use a multi-branch, technology-sharing system that allows a client to visit their local branch and arrange to view other Brinkley’s properties in South West London, including its affiliated office in Park Lane.
Environmental responsibility remains at the forefront of our thoughts. To improve an already efficient, eco-friendly approach, Robert took the decision from the outset to control the amount of paper used within the offices and in marketing. With the advance of technology, tenancy agreements (and other documents) are available to be signed online, which means that clients can progress their files from the comfort of their own home, or office and print documents whenever they are needed.
In addition to offering sales and lettings, the dedicated, Property management team at the Raynes Park office, cover both individual and block property managements. Each landlord has an individual log-in to our proprietary database so they can be constantly updated with developments at their managed properties.
