We have seen sales activity surge during the first quarter of the year. The market struggled since Brexit was announcement in 2016, continual uncertainty was delaying buyers/sellers decision making. Post the recent general election that was changed and confidence returned to the market. We saw online activity at the highest level in 4 years, viewing numbers and sales agreed all followed suit. This was looking like the start of another mini boom in the market. However in the past few week the global pandemic has grounded us all to a halt.
We are still currently operating working from home, however until the lockdown is over we will not be able to gauge the market response. With interest rates at an all-time record low, we expect the local market to pick up quite quickly. We are still maintaining are fees at 0.9% inc vat for sole agency and will be re-energised to assist with your property sale once the lockdown is over.
